CANDLE SAFETY GUIDELINES

A CENTERED WICK MAKES A SAFER AND BETTER BURNING CANDLE...

IMPORTANT CANDLE SAFETY GUIDELINES

  1. Always trim the wick 1/4" before burning every time you light your candle. This helps the candle burn longer and also cuts down on the soot release.
  2. Remove all packaging and labeling before burning.
  3. Burn Votive in tight fitting Votive holder. Burn Votive and tea lights only on heat resistant surfaces made for candles.
  4. Proper flame height is approx. 1/2" to 1" high. If flame is to large, extinquish flame and trim wick a little more, then re-light. If flame is to small, extinquish flame then carefully pour out some of the melted wax, then re-light.
  5. If mushroom ball occurs on wick while burning, extinquish flame, trim mushroom off, then re-light. Mushroom ball occurs from Scent Oil build-up.
  6. Keep lit candles away from anything flammable such as curtains, sheets, etc.
  7. Keep candle wax free from matches, wick trimmings, and any other flammable material.
  8. Keep lit candles out of drafts to avoid smoking and soot.
  9. Keep lit candles away from children and pets.
  10. Always burn a candle within sight! Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  11. Never burn a candle in a broken or cracked container.
  12. Our wicks are safe! We do not use lead core wicks. Our  wicks are 100% Zinc.
  13. NEVER LEAVE A CANDLE BURNING WHILE YOU SLEEP. THIS IS A HUGE CAUSE OF HOUSE FIRES!!!
